So I was born in Cape Town, South Africa in 1974. I spent my childhood in Saudi Arabia, my teen years back in Cape Town, and my tweens (by Shire reckoning) in Copenhagen, Denmark. My nationality and culture is "international".

As a kid I wanted to be an inventor, then a writer, but I settled on neither and studied zoology, which I of course abandoned halfway through writing up a masters thesis so I could get a real job knocking out computer code.

I started creating images in 2007 when I bought my first DSLR. I had never undertaken anything graphically "arty" before that, except some technical illustration while at uni. Soon I started post-processing my photos, then I drew on them, and eventually I stopped caring what it was called. I currently shoot with a bunch of different analog and digital things and homemade hacks - like cultures, cameras are more fun when you keep an open mind and try different ones. I do all of this for escapism.

Art isn't my day job, so I'm not actively looking for commissions. However, if you have something that you think suits my visual style, or you want to buy the rights to one of my images, you're welcome to get in touch. I enjoy challenges, and if I take on a job, I take it seriously.

I'm always open to collaboration in and around Copenhagen, Denmark, and nearby cities, if there's some sort of creative chemistry. This goes especially for costume/set designers and makeup artists who are interested in original, dark work.
